🔐 Encryption
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Your passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plaintext.
🏗 Infrastructure
BetterTeams is hosted on infrastructure with high availability and automatic failover. We use isolated environments for production, staging, and development — no customer data ever touches a non-production system.
🔑 Access control
Access to production systems is restricted to authorised engineers using multi-factor authentication. All access is logged and audited. We follow the principle of least privilege — people only have access to what they need.
📦 Backups
Your data is backed up automatically. Backups are encrypted, tested regularly, and retained for 30 days. In the event of data loss, we can restore your data quickly.
🐛 Vulnerability disclosure
Found a security issue? Please report it responsibly to security@betterteams.app. We aim to respond within 24 hours and will work with you to resolve the issue quickly. We do not pursue legal action against researchers who follow responsible disclosure.
🔄 Updates
We keep all dependencies up to date and regularly patch our systems. Critical security updates are applied immediately.
